Hard to tell if the repair was worth it but I had to replace the engine in my vehicle due to what seemed like a manufacturer defect. A well maintained 2013 Kia Sorento at 88k miles and the engine blew out on the highway. Not many options but Kia offered a great warranty on a remanufactured engine. Unable to get any assistance through Kia Consumer Affairs, I went ahead and paid for it out of pocket.
